Acts 16:37
v. 37
ὁ
δὲ
Παῦλος
ἔφη
πρὸς
αὐτούς·
Δείραντες
ἡμᾶς
δημοσίᾳ
ἀκατακρίτους,
ἀνθρώπους
Ῥωμαίους
ὑπάρχοντας,
ἔβαλαν
εἰς
φυλακήν·
καὶ
νῦν
λάθρᾳ
ἡμᾶς
ἐκβάλλουσιν;
οὐ
γάρ,
ἀλλὰ
ἐλθόντες
αὐτοὶ
⸀ἡμᾶς
ἐξαγαγέτωσαν.
But
Paul
said
to
[the officers]
They beat
us
publicly
without a trial
Roman citizens
[even though] we are
[and] threw [us]
into
prison
And
now
secretly
do they want to send us away
Absolutely not
Let them come
themselves
and escort us out
