Graduate-level theological education, freely available to anyone, anywhere.
Cathedra Institute exists to make rigorous theological education accessible without cost or institutional barriers.
We teach the core disciplines of a seminary — biblical languages, exegesis, theology, church history, and ethics — and make them available to anyone willing to learn.
What sets Cathedra apart is our commitment to the original languages. Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek are not reserved for specialists, but integrated from the beginning. Students can start with no prior experience and grow into reading Scripture in its original form.
Cathedra is also built with a strong commitment to privacy. Tools for theological study, prayer guidance, and self-examination are designed to treat sensitive spiritual inquiry with care and confidentiality.
Why support Cathedra Institute
Cathedra is offered freely — but it requires ongoing work to build, maintain, and expand.
Your support enables us to:
- Provide open access to rigorous theological education.
- Develop new courses and expand the curriculum.
- Build tools for deeper engagement with Scripture.
- Maintain the infrastructure that makes this work available worldwide.
We believe that serious engagement with Scripture should not be restricted by cost, credentials, or institutional access. The ability to study the Bible deeply — down to its original languages and historical context — should be open to anyone genuinely seeking truth.
