ἠγάπησεν

ἔδωκεν,
ἵνα
πᾶς
ὁ
πιστεύων
εἰς
αὐτὸν
μὴ
ἀπόληται
ἀλλὰ
ἔχῃ
ζωὴν
αἰώνιον.

The
Light
has come
into
the
world
but
loved
men
rather
the
darkness
than
the
Light
were
because
their
evil
deeds
v. 20
πᾶς

φαῦλα
πράσσων
μισεῖ
τὸ
φῶς
καὶ
οὐκ
ἔρχεται
πρὸς
τὸ
φῶς,
ἵνα
μὴ
ἐλεγχθῇ
τὰ
ἔργα
αὐτοῦ·
Everyone
who
evil
does
hates
the
Light
and
{does} not
come
into
the
Light
for fear that
will be exposed
deeds
his
v. 21
ὁ
δὲ
ποιῶν
τὴν
ἀλήθειαν
ἔρχεται
πρὸς
τὸ
φῶς,
ἵνα
φανερωθῇ
αὐτοῦ
τὰ
ἔργα
ὅτι
ἐν
θεῷ
ἐστιν
εἰργασμένα.
whoever

practices

truth
comes
into
the
Light
so that
it may be seen clearly

has done

in
God
has been
accomplished
